I practice a healthy lifestyle, which involves constantly setting new goals and challenges in order to keep pushing myself to new limits. This theory applies to my personal life and professional life as well. My wife, Jessica, and pup, Lambeau, are essential elements in achieving this life balance. You can find us up in the mountains on the weekends skiing, snowshoeing, hiking with Lambeau or simply enjoying the mountain atmosphere depending on the day. The passion behind living the e3 lifestyle, to me, is simple. If we have our health, our family and professional lives will be that much more fulfilling. We're constantly striving for improvement in all 3 areas by setting goals, arising to the challenges life brings, and all the while remembering that life is a game of balance. We get one body so make the most of it! Why not make it the most well equipped machine we can… “Battle Ready” is the way I like to think of it.

My path to fitness as a professional came not as a former athlete or from a family of fitness. I came to know fitness after years of pushing aside training as a ridiculous thought, all the while embarrassed that I didn't have the physique of my peers. After being introduced to strength training by a close friend, I saw the error of my thinking. Fitness helped to create the confidence, character, and perseverance that has allowed me to become a motivated owner in the industry. I saw how simply proving I could pick up that heavy weight, jump that high box, and push past that thought of giving up translated into my personal and professional life. This personal experience fuels my involvement in the E3 Program. It is the basis of my training. It is the reason I come ready to coach every day.

It was only after the first 3 years of college that I realized the common denominator in my life and what it was I needed to be doing: fitness. I love understanding why people think the way they do; which goes hand-in-hand when transforming someone from just “being healthy” into adapting a natural lifestyle. I am passionate about making a difference. I am fascinated by the human body and am a firm believer that healthy living is the only way to live. I am enthusiastic, energetic and contagious. I know how to motivate and encourage to the point where it sticks. If you want positive changes to the way you live, you won't find a better place than e3. Period. It's not just the staff that is advocating healthy living as a lifestyle, it's the entire e3 community. I live positive, I live strong, I live to inspire and I am privileged to be a part of a company that pursues the same.

Fitness and athletics have always been a huge part of my life. I've been very fortunate to compete at the NCAA DI and DIII level as an athlete in wrestling and as a Coach at the NCAA DIII level in soccer. These experiences have had a huge impact on not only my professional path but my personal life as well. Through these roles I've learned to have a purpose and vision every day I wake up to push and challenge myself to be the best “ME” mentally, emotionally and physically. Whatever the role may be during the process, I'm passionate about helping individuals achieve and accomplish their goals. Being part of a team and fitness-family is what I'm accustomed too and what drives me to be better. e3 is exactly that atmosphere: creating and inspiring individuals to be leaders in all aspects of their lives. Find your passion, do what you love, and don't ever settle for anything less.

Know of a way to sweat? Yeah, I'm trained in that. Constantly interested in the next wave of interest, I have been involved with many fitness philosophies and training styles. I understand that cross-training necessitates a open approach to different modalities and thus I've invested time in learning several. This well-rounded background gives me the best tool-kit to help our members see the path to their goals with a multi-colored lens. Outside of the gym environment its hikes, bikes, and things that make me go "yikes!". Always moving and always involved, and always challenging myself, that's life for me!

I'm "THAT" guy. That guy that will always send fitness challenges your way. That guy who played multiple sports as a kid and went on to compete at the collegiate D1 level (Go RAMs!). I love pushing myself and others to new limits that never seemed possible. After a few years of crunching numbers in a box I decided, rather I craved, the fulfillment gained in making a direct difference in people. I want to lead people to lead others to their fitness goals. I've found a gym with just that mission. I've found my passion with others who are just as passionate. e3 is my lifestyle, its that simple. The road to becoming fit is a hard commitment, DON'T do it by yourself when we have a whole community of support waiting to help. I learned on the field that a TEAM wins games. Likewise, a TEAM creates healthy lifestyles.
You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You must do the thing you think you cannot do. - Eleanor Roosevelt
